PCYC Lithgow holds various martial arts classes each week, with options for kids, teens, and adults. At our club, you can challenge your body and mind by enrolling in either Karate or Judo classes.
As an ancient Japanese combat sport, Judo is one of the most popular martial arts styles in the world. In Judo classes at PCYC Lithgow, you will learn how to defend yourself and outsmart your opponent with a variety of moves, including throwing and pinning. You’ll also improve your agility, stamina, and strength as you attend regular sessions.
Our Judo classes are available in two sections: Junior Judo (for 6 to 15-year-olds) and Senior Judo (for those over the age of 16). Both classes are open to members of all fitness and experience levels.
PCYC Lithgow also provides Karate classes for our members. Through Karate training, you will practice the fundamentals of this Japanese martial art, including blocking, striking, and throwing. Younger students (between 4 to 7 years old) can join our Karate Roos class, while older children (7 to 12 years old) can attend the Karate Kids course. Advanced students (aged 13 and up) can join the Blackbelt Club sessions. View our current Lithgow martial arts classes timetable below.
