PCYC NSW is a charity empowering young people to survive, and thrive, in partnership with the Police and the community.
Established in 1953, PCYC Muswellbrook has prided itself on opening its doors to all youth in the community in the pursuit of getting young people active, developing their skills, character and leadership, and ultimately reducing and preventing crime by and against young people.
At PCYC Muswellbrook we also have a large range of activities for all ages. We run fitness, educational and cultural activities with something for everyone. Our sporting activities include group fitness, netball, futsal, and gym classes, as well as team gymnastics for all ages, and qualified boxing coaching. Prefer cultural or creative activities? We run a range of classes including art and cooking. Just ask our friendly team at the club for details!
As part of our commitment to making the community a safer place for all, we offer three driver education programs: the Traffic Offenders Course, Safer Drivers Course and the DLAP.
We have over 20 volunteers representing the heart of our community, giving the place a great fun, safe, family feel. We invite you to join and become a part of the fun!
Every Thursday from 6:00pm we have Futsal Social games. get a team together and join in the fun! If you are looking to play please come in and see us or give us a call and we can let our regular teams know if they need additional players!

Have a group of friends together and want to come down and play Pickleball? Give us a call on 6541 1434 and check the court availability. we have all the equipment you need to play – just bring your drink bottle! Only $8 per session for members
Kids Indoor Mixed Sports with Torie is designed for children 5 – 15 years and held after school on Tuesdays at 4pm. Sports will change each week – come and try PickleBall, Table Tennis, Cricket, Handball, Soccer, netball as many other fun sports! They will learn skills, techniques and play fun games during the session. Cost is $10 per session
Junior gym is a program suitable for preschool and kindergarten aged children, bridging the gap between Kindergym and GymStar. Junior Gym offers more structure than the Kindergym program with teaching methods and activities specifically targeted to suit the developmental and cognitive needs of this age group, whilst increasing self-confidence in an independent learning opportunity.
Our Juniorgym classes are $16 and require an annual Gymnastics NSW Registration ($55). To enrol, fill out the “Enrolment & Direct Debit Form” and email it to muswellbrook@pcycnsw.org.au, or bring it into the club.
GymSTAR is our entry level recreational program for school age children, covering the basics of gymnastics and movement in a fun and friendly environment. Children will learn the basics of apparatus such as bars, beam, floor and trampoline to assist in developing skills such as balance, coordination and strength. Each term, participants will be assessed on the skills they have learnt and move up through the GymSTAR levels.

GymSTAR Plus is an extension of our GymSTAR program, for those who have completed the STAR levels or have shown mastery of basic gymnastics skills. This class will increase difficulty on all apparatus whilst also building on strength, flexibility & technique in a recreational setting. Each term, participants will be assessed on the skills they have learnt and move up through Bronze, Silver and Gold levels.
Our GymSTAR Plus classes are $16 and require an annual Gymnastics NSW Registration ($70). To enrol, fill out the “Enrolment & Direct Debit Form” and email it to muswellbrook@pcycnsw.org.au, or bring it into the club. Participants must have passed GymSTAR level R or have been recommended by a coach to be eligible for this class. Please contact the club to organise an assessment.

Competitive Gymnastics
Pathway Program - Women's Artistic Gymnastics (WAG)
WAG is one of the most well-known forms of gymnastics – the kind you would commonly see in the Olympics on TV. It is a competitive sport for girls of all ages comprising of 4 apparatus – beam, bars, floor & vault. Athletes will work on skills, dance and tumbling for each of these apparatus as well as working on developing strength, flexibility and handstands.
WAG is a competition class and as such requires selection to a squad and a commitment for the season. Training days and times vary depending on group/level selected for, and costs depend on hours trained.

Every Tuesday & Thursday from 10am – 10:45am come along and enjoy Messy Play. Children will play with Paints, Play dough, coloured foods, and so many more sensory experiences to be had! Messy Play assists with Cognitive development, Fine & Gross Motor skills, Social skills, relationship building, emotional skills and so many more areas. and best of all we clean up all the mess at the end! Sessions only $8 for members (parent/guardian must be present and financial member but is not required to pay each session as well)
Art Classes are BACK for Term 4 – come along each Monday from 4-5pm and work on different Art Projects including Canvas Painting, Clay modelling, working with different textures and colours and many other fun projects! Cost is $14 for a casual session or $108 for the term
Mini Movers is a class designed for children from 0 – 5 years held every Tuesday and Thursday Mornings at 9am – 9:45am. Session costs are casual for $9 Mini Movers assists in all areas of development social skills, gross and fine motor skills, social skills and hand eye coordination.
Come along and join Chloe each week for a cooking class! we make something yummy each week – and they get to not only take their foods home but also the recipe so you can cook it again and again!!!
