WELCOME TO YOUR LOCAL CLUB PCYC WAGGA WAGGA

PCYC NSW is a charity working in partnership with community and NSW Police to empower youth, get kids active in life and reduce and prevent youth crime.

PCYC Wagga Wagga was founded in 1963, and in November 2022 moved to a brand new facility located at 11 Fitzhardinge Street. The club features a state-of-the-art 3000 square metre air-conditioned and heated stadium that can host a range of indoor court sports such as basketball, futsal, netball and volleyball.

In addition to the multi-court stadium, the club features a fully equipped gym, two large multi-purpose rooms for group fitness, yoga, dance, creative arts, and an outdoor OOSH educational space.

Volleyball is one of the many indoor court sports on offer at PCYC NSW, and is definitely one of our most popular, attracting all ages and abilities to the sport across our clubs, and drawing in many members for our competitions. PCYC operates competitions under the governance of Volleyball NSW, and follows the peak bodies rules and regulations. If you want to get yourself started in the sport of Volleyball or get back into the sport, no matter your skill level, we are here to help you on your journey. We have Volleyball activities for everyone from primary and high school children all the way up to adults. Plus, if you simply want to hire a court for your own team training or personal workout, you can do that too. We have courts for hire and for a casual drop-in practice. Bring your friends, family or even your school groups down and learn something new. PCYC provides accessible courts in many of our clubs and sports centres around the state. Founded in 1937, PCYC NSW is a registered charity, and relies on community support to do the work we do. Choosing to play court sports at PCYC supports us in our mission to empower young people to empower young people to reach their potential and serve as leaders within their communities. This parent/adult assisted class is designed to give your little one a head start in life! With a focus on learning through play, each lesson will use colours, sounds and other stimulation to help your child develop their body control and strengthen brain connections through balance, sensory stimulation, tactile experience and coordination exercises. Children will learn to roll, climb, jump and swing all while having fun and socializing with parents and other children.

This class will increase difficulty on all apparatus whilst also building on strength, flexibility & technique in a recreational setting. Each term, participants will be assessed on the skills they have learnt and move up through Bronze, Silver and Gold levels.

Our GymSTAR Plus classes are $16.50 and require an annual Gymnastics NSW Registration ($70). To enrol, fill out the “Enrolment & Direct Debit Form” and email it to waggawagga@pcycnsw.org.au, or bring it into the club. Participants must have passed GymSTAR level R or have been recommended by a coach to be eligible for this class. Please contact the club to organise an assessment.
