If you’ve been thinking about training in martial arts, PCYC Lake Illawarra is a fantastic place to get your start. We offer multiple martial arts classes each week, providing a fun and supportive environment for you to learn either Jishukan or Tae Kwon Do.
Jishukan is a Japanese martial art that teaches students self-defence and promotes mental and physical wellness, while also emphasising the importance of humility and self-control. As part of your Jishukan training at PCYC Lake Illawarra, you will learn how to strike, kick, and block in order to outsmart your opponent.
As far as other types of martial arts, our club also provides Tae Kwon Do training. In these classes, you will begin your practice of this fascinating Korean martial art, which incorporates kicking, hand striking, and defence tactics.
