PCYC (Police Citizen Youth Clubs) NSW's annual Nations of Origin tournament is set to take place from July 11th - 14th, 2023 in Western Sydney. PCYC NSW in partnership with Transport for NSW is proud to announce the launch of a fully funded driver education program for 100 Provisional P1 and P2 drivers. The program is part of the online Traffic Offenders Intervention Program (TOIP) and aims to provide easy and affordable access to in-depth and engaging driver education to novice drivers who have committed a traffic offense.
The Lismore PCYC officiallyre-opens its doors to the community on Tuesday 16thMay afterthe February 2022 floods which devasted the community of Lismore. The devastation from the 14.4m flood levels sawthousands of people displaced, and over 1800 homes and businesses damaged.
Police Citizens Youth Club NSW’s brand new $23 million development of the multi-purpose Wagga Wagga club is set for its grand opening on November 25th, 2022.
From October 5th – 8th, over 700 young people from across NSW will be representing their Aboriginal Nation at the annual four-day PCYC Nations of Origin tournament held in Port Stephens, Maitland and Lake Macquarie.
The Midjuburi Ballers program is an early morning basketball program for Indigenous teens. Based on a successful pilot in 2021, PCYC Marrickville has proudly secured funding by the Inner West Council and West Connex to continue running the program through 2022.
PCYC NSW will be working hard to keep school kids active these Summer School Holidays with affordable and fun activities in December and January. Last year PCYC NSW provided school holiday programs to more than 45,000 children across the state and its shaping up to be another busy year!
PCYC City of Sydney will unveil its collaborative art project on Friday, 16 October. PCYC City of Sydney, the foundation club of PCYC NSW, has been working with NSW Police and Inner Sydney’s indigenous and non-indigenous communities to produce a collaborative mural.
