PCYC TAREE MARTIAL ARTS

PCYC Taree hosts a number of martial arts classes each week, with the intention of getting our members active and excited about physical activity. Our class options include Judo and Karate, so you’re sure to find the right martial arts discipline for you.

Our Judo classes are the ideal way to develop athletic skills such as coordination and strength. As a form of Jiu-Jitsu, this modern Japanese martial art incorporates techniques such as throwing and grappling, with the intention of overcoming your opponent. Through Judo training, you will build your confidence and boost your self-esteem. We offer one class for children under the age of 16 and another for teens and adults over 16.

Karate classes at PCYC Taree are another popular option for anyone looking to get into martial arts. During these sessions, you will study Shotokan Karate, which includes elements of combat and self-defence. You’ll also work on your flexibility, stamina, and reflexes. Our Karate classes are split up into three sections: one for primary school children (between years 3 and 6), high school-age kids (between years 7 and 12), and adults (aged 18 and up).
