At PCYC Young, our boxing classes are designed to suit people of various skill levels, ages, and abilities. With options for everyone from children to adults, our community-based club is a fantastic place to learn and practice boxing.
Our Junior Boxing classes serve as an excellent introduction to boxing for children over the age of 6. In these sessions, young boys and girls will learn the fundamentals of boxing, as they improve their strength and coordination. They’ll also boost their self-confidence and learn important lessons about dedication and hard work.
For those interested in taking their boxing hobby further, the Amateur Boxing class at PCYC Young is the perfect next step. In this course, boxers will work on their form and technique, while engaging in sparring (with supervision from our qualified trainer). This course is open to those aged 12 and up.
We also run a Total Fit Women’s Boxing class, which is open to ladies (aged 14 and up) as well as children under school-age. These sessions are held in a safe and supportive environment where women can learn boxing at their own pace. View our current Wollongong boxing classes timetable below.
